RBS and We are Futures launch MoneySense Mondays

We are Futures announce the successful launch of MoneySense Mondays. These fun and interactive lessons are for primary age pupils and parents to watch together to learn about money. Taking place LIVE between 10.00 - 11.00am on the NatWest Facebook page, 11.30am - 12.30pm on the Royal Bank of Scotland Facebook page and 2.00 - 3.00pm on the Ulster Bank Facebook page every Monday in May. Each session will be co-hosted by an experienced teacher and a Community Banker and a recording of the lesson will be available afterwards on the Facebook page for on-demand viewing.

The first half of the session is aimed at lower primary (ages 5-8) and the second half for upper (ages 8-12 approx.) and every week they’ll explore a new topic.

MoneySense is a free financial education programme that aims to help 5-18 year-olds in the UK and Republic of Ireland towards a better financial future. It uses the key money moments in a young person’s life – starting to save their pocket money, opening a bank account or getting their first mobile phone – to make learning about money feel relatable. It is provided free of charge by RBS.

We are Futures is a specialist consultancy that works to better connect organisations with young people and their families and MoneySense was created in collaboration with RBS, based on Young Money's financial education planning frameworks, in order to bring financial literacy to young people across the nation.
