Think!Sponsorship provides training through one-day workshops for the sponsorship industry. These are specifically structured and developed to assist sponsorship-seekers in honing their sales skills, developing effective and realistic sponsorship propositions, and understanding the current sponsorship marketplace and how their idea/proposition sits within that.

We have run several of our Sell Your Sponsorship! Workshops over the past few months which have been well recieved by a diverse group of sponsorship-seekers from right across the charity, membership bodies, associations, sports, arts, entertainment & local government sectors. We are hosting our next Sell Your Sponsorship! Workshop at the Think!Sponsorship conference on the 12th October 2010. Sell Your Sponsorship! Workshop

Presented by: Greville Waterman & Catherine Hawkins with guest speakers throughout the day.

Learning from experienced practitioners it will help you develop the fundamental skills and tools necessary to open up potential sources of revenue by ensuring that your sponsorship proposal is relevant, creative, interesting and bespoke and most crucially offers prospects a real sense of partnership as well as business opportunities for both parties.

This workshop will provide you with practical tips, information and advice you can implement immediately to help you increase your sponsorship income and ensure cut through in a cluttered and extremely challenging marketplace.

You will be getting advice from proven industry professionals who know what it takes to get results. Learn the secrets that will make you successful including how to:

 Develop a cost effective sponsorship offer that will have high value for your sponsors
 Understand how much your sponsorship is really worth
 Determine the actual cost of servicing sponsors
 Create a compelling sponsorship proposal, with the look, content and pricing structure that will get you results
 Identify appropriate new sponsorship targets
 Understand what brands really want – and make sure they get it
 Access the relevant sponsorship decision-maker
 Answer the question “Why should they sponsor you?”
 Provide sales materials that are relevant & effective
 Short circuit the Sales Process and closing the deal (including timeframes)
 Develop a long term business relationship and retain a rapport with corporate supporters
 Leverage membership through your corporate partnerships.

About the Presenters:

This seminar is being lead by Greville Waterman& Catherine Hawkins. Greville has over 25 years’ experience in buying & selling sponsorships across all spheres of activity on behalf of some of the UK’s leading brands & rights holders alike. Catherine specialises in working with sponsorship-seekers to identify assets and opportunities within organisations with the goal of converting these into revenue-generating and sustainable commercial programmes. She has over 10 years experience in sponsorship and sales and is the founder and director of the Think!Sponsorship conference series.

 Cost & Terms:

 Cost: £175 plus VAT per delegate
 On receipt of your booking an invoice with confirmation of your booking, course joining instructions and a map are sent to you by post
 All fees must be paid for in advance
 Credit cards are accepted over the telephone
 Cancellations must be received 30 days in advance of the seminar date. All fees forfeited thereafter, however substitutions can be made
 It is possible to change date or venue after you have booked, but there is £25 administration fee if the change is made more than 2 weeks before the event and £70 administration fee if made less than two weeks before the event.
 Dress is smart casual.
