Competition for marketing spend has never been higher. We live in an age of multi-channels, multi-platforms and integrated marketing communications where the scrutiny placed on budgets is second to none. The pressure on sponsorship rights-holders and facilitating agencies to deliver has hit a new high and with it comes the need to understand corporate marketing departments and to have the tools and ideas ready to attract and keep sponsors. Moreover, the pressure on brands and sponsoring companies to demonstrate a return on objectives is increasing year-on-year.
Think!Sponsorship was set up to provide information to sponsorship rights-holders, brands, agencies and sponsorship professionals in the sports, arts, government, media and charity sectors. Our goal is to deliver valuable learning and networking opportunities that can help the sponsorship industry to develop best practice and effective sponsorship techniques. Over 1,000 different organisations have attended Think!Sponsorship in the past from large properties, through to niche seasonal events.
We run two conferences per year - in the Spring (usually April ) and the Autumn (usually late September or early October)- both in London -enabling you to come and mix with leading sponsorship practitioners and develop the skills and tools that will help you sell and manage sponsorship more effectively. Our next event- the 10th conference in the series will take place on the 16th October 2008 at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, in the heart of London. We also run quarterly networking events called Talk!Sponsorship. These evening events strive to help the sponsorship industry interact and communicate, as well as providing ideas and information on specific topic areas. Our next Talk!Sponsorship event will take place on the 26th June at the Horse Bar, London. Full details of this event can be found in the Talk!Sponsorship section of the site.
We also own The Meeting Room- a membership organisation for the UK sponsorship industry that launched earlier this year, and has over 900 members.
