Sponsorship By Numbers?
Our final group session of the 17th Think!Sponsorship conference put three questions into the minds of the audience prior to the subsequent panel discussion: (1) Sponsorship- as an industry- has a propensity to measure simply by numbers. How much useful information can that provide as to the effectiveness of the programme -does measuring by numbers indicate a lack of clarity in objectives and strategy? (2) Are sponsors using the right matrix to evaluate the performance of their sponsorship activity? (3) How can we measure the impact of sponsorship activation activity on audiences, and gain a better understanding of whether the sponsorship programme has gained their attention, and engaged them enough to take action? Enjoy the whole session here! This video lasts around 40 minutes.

The Bribery Act: Make sure your sponsorship programme is compliant
In July 2011 the much talked about Bribery Act was voted into force and brought with it a great deal of uncertainty within the context of sponsorship. Was this the end for corporate hospitality, one of sponsorship's greatest assets? In this video, recorded at the Think!Sponsorship conference, leading sponsorship law practitioners Farrer & Co help both sponsors and rights holders to understand how they can continue to practice sponsorship within the confines of the act. This is followed by a panel discussion, including content from Castrol's Head of Sponsorship, Toby Hester, who shares with delegates the role hospitality plays within his sponsorship portfolio. This video lasts approximately 1 hour.
