Sponsorship is a 10 billion dollar industry globally

This sponsorship spend ranges from huge investments that span for long periods of time (for example Pepsi's 10 year $950,000,000 sponsorship of the NFL) through to much smaller deals that last for a year or under. Each sponsorship is different, serves a different business need, and has bespoke activation to engage with the target consumer.


Below is a pie chart that shows the breakdown of sponsorship spend across different sectors. Sport commands the lion's share, but we are seeing more and more emerging sponsorship markets as the industry grows and develops.
